WordPress 2.6.1 is now available to download. It’s not a mandatory update. If you’re happy with existing WordPress 2.6 don’t worry just ignore the message on admin panel.

Now you can upload pictures with caption to WordPress.com. It’s pretty interesting isn’t it? When we get pictures using Zemanda we can see pics with caption, with description about the source.

Now WordPress.com brings another feature to its users. This time, they are bringing in a third party tool made by Google to enhance user experience over wordpress.com blogs.

WordPress.com stats are now one click away
Now wordPress.com Stat is only a one click away. Earlier you need to log-in and then later click stats blah blah.. Now you can login point your mouse pointer on My Account in admin bar, then u can see that stat also listed in that drop down list.
Go ahead and click it… It’s now only one click away!

Blogger Vs WordPress.com
As problogger.com says, blogger have more users than WordPress.com. Here in this post I’m not going to compare self hosted WordPress and Blogger. Self hosted WordPress is highly customizable but you can’t customize WordPress.com as you wish (as a free user).
